Back on track

This week I wrote one just one but two stories. One for my writing group homework and the other for another splendid site which I’ve discovered, Hour of Writes. This a Manchester (UK)-based enterprise which offers weekly writing competitions with cash prizes. A title is issued on Monday and you have till Friday night to make your entry, writing for a specific hour (of your choice). The work is peer-reviewed, although the moderators of the site have the final say on the winners. As an entrant you commit to reviewing three entries and in return get feedback on your own. There is a small entry fee.

I’m giving it a go – I’ve entered my first piece of writing and done my first reviews. There’s a quick turn-around. Watch this space!
