Thursday Shout-out – 1 – Fractured West

I’m the first to admit that I’m a shameless self-publicist, but I also like to promote other people and sites where I find good writing. So now that I’ve set up this  blog I’m going to write a weekly promo on a writing site and/or publication which I admire.

I’m starting with Fractured West. This is a print magazine set up and edited by two brilliant writers from Scotland, Kirsty Logan and Helen Sedgwick. There’s nothing run of the mill in FW. The stories turn and twist in your mind long after you’ve read them.

They published my story Baby in Fractured West issue #2 and though it was one of my earliest, it remains one of the stories I’m most proud to have written.
